I am a writer/director living in Los Angeles. Although my primary interest is narrative, I view documentary as a necessary tool for increasing awareness of marginalized communities and preserving history and culture. Often blurring the lines between genres and forms, my style can best be described as creative non-fiction. I received my B.A. in Creative Writing at Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA; followed by an M.F.A in Film and Media Arts at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. While at Temple, I earned certificates in Teaching in Higher Education and Entrepreneurship. I am currently developing my own projects. When not at work, I can be found at the beach, practicing yoga, hiking, reading tarot, or exploring LA and beyond. Send me a note!
